NeuroDiverse Inclusive Solutions – Monthly Insights & Strategies
Welcome to the official archive of our monthly newsletter series from NeuroDiverse Inclusive Solutions. Launched in April 2025, this series explores neurodiversity, workplace inclusion, and real-world strategies for supporting autistic individuals. Our goal is to make these conversations accessible, practical, and rooted in both lived experience and professional insight.
Whether you’re neurodivergent, a parent, educator, employer, or ally — you’re in the right place.
Current Issues
• April 2025 – Launch Edition: PDA & The Drive for Autonomy
Our first issue dives into the often-misunderstood profile of Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA). We explore why what looks like defiance is often an autistic person’s way of maintaining autonomy and safety. This edition challenges behavior-based support models and offers a clearer lens rooted in self-advocacy and regulation.

• May 2025 – Mini Issue: The Autism Conversation Everyone’s Afraid to Have
This mini edition bridges April’s PDA insights with the foundational topic ahead. It focuses on one bold truth: most public autism conversations are still driven by fear, not facts. This issue revisits the language we use — from functioning labels to severity scales — and sets the stage for June’s deep dive into the core of what autism really is.

• June 2025 – Autism Is Not a Bad Word: Breaking the Spectrum Wide Open
Our foundational issue. This edition reframes autism as a neurological difference — not a behavior disorder or cognitive impairment. We’ll unpack why “profound autism” is a misused term, clarify the clinical purpose (and limits) of support levels, and explore how masking, burnout, and trauma impact long-term outcomes. Written for professionals, families, and neurodivergent adults, this issue breaks the spectrum wide open and reclaims language that has been used to limit instead of empower.
